General Terms and Conditions for Dutch Blockchain Week
Organized by Stichting Blockchain Netherlands, located at Nieuwendijk 9c, 1012LZ Amsterdam.
Article 1. Definitions
1.1 Organization: Stichting Blockchain Netherlands, statutorily established in Amsterdam, registered at the address Nieuwendijk 9c, 1012LZ.
1.2 Event: Dutch Blockchain Week, an event organized by the Organization, taking place on 19-25th May in Amsterdam.
1.3 Visitor: Any natural or legal person who has purchased or obtained a ticket for the Event.
1.4 Location: The venue where the Event takes place; (Meervaart), Amsterdam.
1.5 Ticket: A document issued by or on behalf of the Organization or a digital code granting access to the Event.
Article 2. Applicability
2.1 These general terms and conditions apply to all services and agreements related to the Event.
2.2 The Visitor agrees to these general terms and conditions and the house rules of the Event by purchasing a Ticket or by entering the event.
Article 3. Ticketing and Access
3.1 The agreement is concluded at the moment of purchase of a Ticket by the Visitor.
3.2 Tickets are personal and only valid for the person and date specified on the ticket.
3.3 Refunds for Tickets are not possible. In case of transfer via a platform like Ticketswap, the name change must be communicated to the Organization in advance, so that a correct badge can be made.
Article 4. Force Majeure
4.1 In the event of force majeure, the Organization has the right to cancel or reschedule the Event to another date.
4.2 Force majeure includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters, epidemics, pandemics, terrorist threats, strikes, and the cancellation or modification of artists.
4.3 In case of cancellation of the Event due to force majeure, the Organization will seek to find an appropriate solution but is not obliged to refund the ticket price.
Article 5. Liability
5.1 The Organization is not liable for damage resulting from loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings of the Visitor at the event.
5.2 The Visitor enters the Event at their own risk. The Organization is not liable for hearing damage, health damage, or any other damage that the Visitor may incur during the Event.
5.3 The Organization is solely liable for direct damage caused by gross negligence or intent by the Organization, excluding force majeure situations.
