Dutch Blockchain Week brings together professionals from across digital assets, finance, payments, blockchain and technology for a full week of content, business and networking in Amsterdam.
Since our first edition in 2019, DBW has grown alongside the industry. What started as an initiative to connect the Dutch blockchain ecosystem has developed into an international week bringing together exchanges, banks, payment providers, funds, market makers, regulators, infrastructure companies, technology leaders and entrepreneurs.
In 2027, Dutch Blockchain Week returns for its 9th edition, with the Main Summit on May 19 & 20 at the Johan Cruijff ArenA at the heart of a full week of events across Amsterdam.
Who are we?
Dutch Blockchain Week is organized by a team of professionals with backgrounds across digital assets, finance, marketing, partnerships, events and community building.
Behind DBW is BCNL Foundation, one of the Netherlands’ established industry communities for blockchain and digital assets. Throughout the year, BCNL connects companies, institutions and professionals through events, knowledge sharing and industry initiatives. Dutch Blockchain Week brings that network together on a larger international stage.
Each edition is built together with our team, partners, speakers, volunteers and the wider ecosystem.

Dutch Blockchain Week started with a vision to connect the Dutch blockchain ecosystem. The first edition was a small but impactful gathering that laid the foundation for what would become a major annual event in Amsterdam.

2020 - 2021
Dutch Blockchain Week evolved into Europe’s leading B2B blockchain event, expanding to multiple venues across Amsterdam and integrating hybrid online-offline formats to engage a global audience. This period marked significant growth in partnerships and international reach.

2022 - 2023
By 2023, Dutch Blockchain Week had cemented its reputation as a hub for innovation. Collaborations with top exchanges, regulators, and fintech leaders fueled impactful discussions on tokenization, compliance, and market evolution, with community-driven events amplifying the ecosystem.
Bringing the ecosystem together
2024 - 2025
Dutch Blockchain Days and Dutch Blockchain Week joined forces, bringing the conference and wider event week together under one umbrella.
The Main Summit became the central meeting point, surrounded by side events, dinners, meetups, networking events and other initiatives organized throughout the week.
A new home at the Johan Cruijff ArenA
2026
DBW took its next major step by moving the Main Summit to the Johan Cruijff ArenA.
Across the week, thousands of professionals came together in Amsterdam through the Main Summit and more than 40 events, creating opportunities for knowledge sharing, networking and business across the industry.

2027
Dutch Blockchain Week returns from May 17–23, 2027, with the Main Summit on May 19 & 20 once again taking place at the Johan Cruijff ArenA.
The focus continues to expand across digital assets, finance, payments, infrastructure, regulation and technology, bringing together the companies and professionals moving the industry forward.
