Thijs Mooren

I am a Teaching Coordinator at the Nederlands Mathematisch Instituut, where I lead a team of educators, support curriculum design, and have co-authored educational books while helping to develop an online learning platform. My prior experience includes working as a Paralegal at Axon Lawyers, specializing in regulatory affairs for the life sciences sector, and completing an internship in decentralized finance (DeFi) with Mo Problems, where I focused on explaining complex DeFi protocols. I hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics, specializing in Algebra and Geometry, as well as a Master’s in Information Law from the University of Amsterdam. Outside of work, I enjoy wrestling, exploring poetry, and working with my family on EcoJoy, a non-profit that enhances lives and supports sustainability in the Kilimanjaro region through responsible tourism.
